Chris King School of Motoring delivers professional driving lessons using tried and tested learning techniques. Our services are great for people of all abilities and we welcome first time beginners and nervous pupils.
Our driving lessons and driving courses:
Beginners driving lessons
Following the DSA syllabus all lessons are structured to ensure each topic is covered to a high level in both theoretical and practical terms to help you prepare for your driving test. The DSA recommends at least 2 hours of professional tuition per year of your life plus private practice where possible. Obviously individual needs may vary. We recommend 2 hour lessons for a more productive, variable driving experience.
Refresher driving courses
Whether it is general driving skills, parking or reversing, just call to discuss your needs. These lessons are recommended to be 2 hours.
Motorway driving lessons
You will experience joining and leaving motorways, lane discipline, overtaking and what to do in an emergency. These lessons are 2 hours and take place when the motorways are reasonably busy.

Pass Plus driving lessons and topics
Pass Plus driving lessons
This course is designed for pupils who have passed their test and want to extend their driving skills. It must be taken within one year of passing the practical test and can result in discount on your insurance. It covers six topics over six hours and the course will be designed to suit your needs, ensuring that the complete syllabus is covered.

- Motorways
